We offer Low Energy, Hassle Free, post-harvest storage solutions for fruits and vegetables which delay the ripening process of fruits/yellowing of leafy vegetables, protect from microbial attack, and keep produce fresh for a longer period.
We aim to reduce post-harvest food loss during storage and transport by ensuring that food from farms reaches the hands of consumers, instead of getting spoiled on the way.
In regions like India and Sub-saharan Africa, food loss in the supply chain can be up to 50%. Food loss in the supply chain means unnecessary over-production, loss of money, wastage of inputs during farming, loss of edible food and a large carbon footprint.
Extending the shelf-life of fresh produce also helps provide dignity of labor for farmers. Smallholder farmers’ livelihoods often depend on how much they can sell and at what price. Our solutions provide a way for farmers to sell when prices are higher, have better access to the market, and get fair prices by maintaining the high quality of the produce.
